The Southern Lakes Mutlisport Club is very closely linked with the Wakatipu cycle club. By clicking here you will be able to follow the club calendar as to when rides are happening. Due to the lovely weather conditions that we have in Central, the club goes into hibernation over the winter with everyone getting out the mountain bikes and staying off the roads. Come summer though every Sunday throws up a new challenge around another part of paradise.
The club does specifically organise one race, it is a lovely wee ride that has a couple wee hill climbs in it, known as the Crown Range. This road is the highest sealed road in NZ and boasts a number of switchbacks, gruelling ascents and breathtaking (and breath catching) decents. More information and entry information is posted below.
